What started as executive assistance, Helm Solutions offered services that included a plethora of minor tasks. Executive Assistance gave the small business owner a much needed break because it was offered on an 'as needed' basis, without the need to hire a full-time employee. This eliminated the small business owners worry of paying someone a steady wage, ensuring steady workable hours, EI, benefits, and taxes. By hiring a consultant, we offered them a tax break when they needed it.
It was through working with these small business owners that we realized that many small business owners were 'big picture' thinkers. They were working at a pace so fast that they didn't know how they got there, let alone how to do it again. Helm Solutions understands that sometimes it is necessary to slow down so that you can appreciate the ride.
